Hello - We are the Gilmores and the "worker bees" of Bee Lux. We started making beeswax candles many years ago for holiday gifts.  And each year, we fell more in love with beeswax, and the science of constructing the perfect candle.  We found ourselves so fully immersed in the study and art of beeswax candlemaking, that this craft outgrew its status as a hobby.
     
We make our candles in our home studio - "Ladd Cottage" - in SE Portland.
